30 Knots Distillery When a crayfisherman becomes a distiller
30 Knots was born and bred in windy Geraldton W.A. and founded by crayfisherman and distiller Muz, who grew up riding the tides and bracing for ocean storms. Apart from the winds of Western Australia, Geraldton is well know for its local lighthouse, keeping weary sailors safe for generations and a key source of inspiration for this packaging. The Zendoke lighthouse inspired custom bottle is labelled with a utilitarian styled label, which pays tribute to the hard yakka way of life in Geraldton. The overlay of foils and embossing on a heavily textured stock is tactile and invites exploration, allowing the consumer to discover that all is not what it seems, with the tasting notes of each label appearing to blow off the pack, swept up by the winds of Geraldton. Each product in the range identified with a unique Australian landscape inspired colour-way and finished with unique hand-set, wind blown typography.
